Migato was founded in 1983, in the high point of the 80’ fashion. Today, it is a leading player in the industry, with more than 60 Migato stores and strong wholesale presence internationally. In the beginning, it was only about two people and one big dream. The company’s brand name, MIGATO, was created in 1983 through the combination of the two founders’ names. “Mi” for Maria and “Gato”, from the last name of Panagiotis Gatos. Talking about a winning combination, this was a jackpot. MIGATO has been creating and distributing shoes and accessories since 1983. Today we are proud to say that we are leaders in our market sector in Greece, operating a very tightly organized enterprise of more than 60 retail shops worldwide and even greater distribution on our wholesale department. We are constantly evolving and increasing our business within Greece, but most importantly, spreading through the global market. For more than 40 years, all of us, the MIGATO team from every sector of the company, we share the same ideas and common ambitions.
